Veto, the subscription-free Indian OTT platform, has continued its push into live sports after securing rights to the final stage of this year’s Billie Jean King (BJK) Cup women’s national teams tennis competition.
The new agreement sees Veto become the exclusive OTT streaming rights holder for the tournament in India, which is due to take place from September 22 to 27 in Shenzhen, China, with all matches available through Veto’s digital platform.

The 2026 BJK Cup will feature eight nations competing in the knockout stage, with Italy looking to consolidate its position with a third consecutive title.
Earlier this year, India hosted the BJK Cup Asia/Oceania Group I stage at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association stadium from April 7 to 11, with the home team finishing third in the six-nation group and retaining Group I status for 2027 after a 2-1 win over South Korea.
The result means India’s women’s team has not reached the finals for the 2026 BJK Cup.
Coverage for the 2025 BJK Cup games involving India was provided by state-owned sports channel DD Sports, alongside digital streams on the Prasar Bharati Sports YouTube channel and the Waves OTT app.
The new rights come as Veto looks to establish its footprint in live sports, having recently secured exclusive streaming rights in the country to the men’s equivalent Davis Cup competition.
Veto’s deal in August saw it become the Davis Cup’s official streaming partner in India for the rest of the 2026 edition and will air the second-round qualifiers and the Final Eight tournament, which will be held in Italy’s Bologna from November 24 to 29.
The new deal comes as India’s men’s team heads into a decisive spell of its campaign, with the team due to travel to South Korea for the second round of qualifiers, with a win sending them to the Final Eight tournament.
The seven ties in the second round of qualifiers, played from September 18 to 20, will feature 14 nations (including India) playing across up to 35 matches to decide the seven teams that will join hosts and defending champions Italy at the 2026 Final Eight in November.
Veto has said it will stream India’s tie live as part of its wider Davis Cup coverage.
With both national team tennis competitions now secured, Veto is positioning itself as a new destination for accessible live sports in India, adding to its mix of news, movies, music, entertainment and kids programming.
