European soccer's governing body UEFA has put broadcast rights to its top-tier men's club competitions out to tender in nine markets, including Australia and Turkiye.
A tender process covering the next four seasons of the following competitions has now begun: the top-tier UEFA Champions League; second-tier UEFA Europa League; and third-tier UEFA Conference League.

In total, the tender went live across the Caribbean, Greece, Turkiye, Malta, Iceland, Cyprus, Israel, New Zealand, and Australia earlier this week.
There is a deadline for submissions on November 3, with the cycle in question running across the 2027-28, 2028-29, 2029-30, and 2030-31 campaigns.
These processes are being managed by the UC3 commercial arm, a joint venture between UEFA and the European Football Clubs' body, and Relevant Football partners, UEFA’s sales agency for the club competitions through 2033, spanning media, sponsorship, and licensing rights.
Across the aforementioned markets, the following broadcasters are covering the UCL this season: Cosmote and Mega (Greece); TRT (Turkiye); Melita (Malta); Cyta (Cyprus); Viaplay and Syn (Iceland); The Sports Channel (Israel); DAZN (New Zealand); Nine Network (Australia); and Rush Sports (the Caribbean).
Teams from Turkiye and Greece, in particular, regularly compete in the group stages of the UCL – these sides, this season, include AEK Athens, Fenerbahce, and Galatasaray.
In terms of recent deals in other markets for these same cycles, early September saw iQIYI Sports, the Chinese digital streaming platform, renew these same rights.
In Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, meanwhile, telecoms firm Advanced Info Services is set to secure rights in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia after becoming UEFA's preferred bidder.
Tender processes are also currently running in South Korea and in Taiwan.
The group stages of the 2026-27 UEFA club competitions began earlier this month.
