This deal comes in addition to the coverage of the tour already scheduled to appear on UK commercial free-to-air broadcaster ITV and on the ITVX streaming hub.
Scott Young, executive vice president at WBD Sports Europe, has said: "While our cycling coverage is global, we are passionate about telling local stories for the widest possible audience.
"That's why, as the home of cycling in the UK and Ireland, we're thrilled to partner with British Cycling to showcase the country's most prestigious road race on our channels and platforms."
The ITV deal – a renewal – was unveiled earlier this month. It marks the 13th consecutive edition of the event to be shown live by the broadcaster, and the 17th edition in a row to have been aired on the channel since 2008.
