Socios.com, the blockchain-based fan engagement platform, has appointed Daniel Maglietta as its new head of football partner acquisition.

Maglietta makes his move from Infront Sports, the international sports marketing agency, where he served as associate director since 2018.

In his new position, as part of Socios.com’s global acquisition team, Maglietta will be responsible for bringing in new partners in the soccer sector to assist with the company’s vision of launching fan tokens with more clubs.

Socios.com has an extensive soccer partnership portfolio which includes FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Arsenal and Manchester City, with the platform reported to have generated more than $200 million in revenue for its partner clubs in Europe.

In addition, it has partnerships with franchises in motorsport, cricket, basketball and combat sports.
