The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), the regional soccer organizer for Southeast Asia, has renewed its broadcast partnership with Singaporean state broadcaster Mediacorp, covering its ‘ASEAN United FC’ range of competitions.

The multi-year deal covers the AFF’s four major competitions, collectively branded as ASEAN United FC, which includes three national team competitions – the ASEAN Championship 2026, the ASEAN U-23 Championship 2027, and the Women’s Championship 2027 in Singapore – as well as the ASEAN Club Championship international club competition.

Coverage of all four competitions will be aired via Mediacorp’s digital platform Mewatch.

Mediapro’s new contract will start with its coverage of the 2026 ASEAN Championship, which will run from July 24 through August 26, while select matches will be shown from the 2026-27 ASEAN Club Championship.

AFF president Khiev Sameth said: “The AFF is proud to build on its longstanding partnership with Mediacorp, whose unwavering commitment has played an important role in bringing the excitement, passion, and inspiring stories of ASEAN football to audiences across Singapore.

“As we prepare for another exciting year … we look forward to working closely with Mediacorp to broaden the reach of our competitions, strengthen fan engagement, inspire the next generation of players and supporters, and showcase the very best of ASEAN football.”

The renewal was brokered by global sports marketing agency Sportfive, the AFF’s exclusive commercial agency, which has ramped up the AFF’s partnership slate ahead of this year’s events.

Most recently, Sportfive announced Japanese air conditioner manufacturer Daikin as the latest commercial partner of ASEAN United FC, with the company to receive prominent branding across the tournament fixtures.

Other sponsors secured by the AFF include automotive giant Hyundai, regional insurance conglomerate MSIG, global hotel and hospitality chain Accor, and match ball supplier Adidas.

Hyundai is the title sponsor of the ASEAN Championship (the Hyundai ASEAN Championship), while MSIG is the title sponsor of the ASEAN Women’s Championship (the ASEAN Women’s MSIG Cup), and prominent regional e-commerce platform Shopee is the title sponsor of the ASEAN Club Championship (the ASEAN Shopee Cup).

The 12-member AFF is made up of Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam, although Australia, by nature of its high FIFA rank relative to other AFF members in the men’s game, does not typically participate in men’s AFF competitions.
