International sailing series SailGP has extended its broadcast agreements with CBS Sports, the Paramount-owned US commercial network, and Kayo Sports, the sports streaming platform of Australian pay-TV broadcaster Foxtel.
The extension with CBS covers the 2026 and 2027 seasons and marks the first time SailGP has secured a multi-year US television deal, with CBS providing 50 hours of coverage of the championship each season.

The main CBS network will air SailGP events, with live highlights on key weekends, while CBS Sports Network will feature live coverage of several racing days.
The CBS Sports Network, meanwhile, will feature live coverage of nine racing days, while the main CBS network will air highlights on key weekends over both seasons.
Specifically, the network has confirmed it will air its coverage on January 18, February 28, April 18, June 7, July 5, and September 5, with its broadcast windows for October, November, and December yet to be announced.
The renewal builds on CBS Sports’ coverage of SailGP since 2019, having last extended its one-year deal ahead of the 2024-25 season, with its The Race to Abu Dhabi broadcast in November drawing around 3.5 million viewers – the most-watched SailGP broadcast in the US.

Kayo Sports also secured a multi-year renewal of its SailGP rights, having aired the championship since 2019.
Under the new deal, Kay Sports will continue to air every race of the series live and on demand via its platform and linear Foxtel service.
SailGP’s global broadcast audience for the 2024-25 season reached nearly 215 million, averaging 18 million viewers per event.
The renewals come at the same time SailGP has announced its 2026 calendar, featuring 13 teams racing in identical catamarans.
The 2026 season is set to kick off with Australia’s inaugural Perth Sail Grand Prix, which will be aired on CBS and Kayo Sports on January 18.
