The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) property in the US has struck a significant domestic media rights deal with the CW Network.

Through a multi-year tie-up unveiled yesterday (July 23), the CW Network will become the exclusive broadcast home of events from the PBR Camping World Team Series.

The deal adds to PBR's existing domestic rights tie-up with the Fox Sports network (announced earlier this month), which entails the Fox Nation subscription streaming service exclusively showing the aforementioned series on Friday nights.

This CW Network-PBR agreement comes into effect on August 9 and 10, and continues through to the league's championship event in Las Vegas in late October.

In terms of PBR rights deals struck outside the US, in March, a two-season extension between PBR and TSN in Canada was unveiled.

In February, meanwhile, it was announced that PBR is now formally under the control of TKO Group, the sports division controlled by entertainment giant Endeavor.

Last November, PBR terminated its previous main domestic media rights deal with Merit Street Media, the entertainment network, over (alleged) unpaid rights fees.

Elsewhere, CW Network also now holds exclusive domestic rights to stock car racing's Nascar Xfinity Series (the second tier of Nascar action), for the 2025-31 cycle.

CW Network also covers sports including wrestling, American football, basketball, athletics, and beach volleyball.
