Nitto Denko, the Japanese materials manufacturer, has extended its title sponsorship of the ATP Finals, the season-ending tournament on the men’s tennis calendar, for another five years.

The new deal, running through 2030, covers the ATP’s hosting contract with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP), which will see the tournament staged in Turin, Italy, through the same year.

Nitto president and chief executive Hideo Takasaki said: “Since the inception of our partnership in 2017, we have consistently supported players striving for excellence, recognizing parallels with our own Global Niche Top strategy.

“Furthermore, the players' bold pursuit of challenges has fostered a culture of taking on challenges within the Nitto Group, transcending organizational boundaries, and has served as a profound source of inspiration.”

Nitto replaced UK-based bank Barclays in an initial four-year deal, before renewing its agreement in 2020 to coincide with the tournament’s new era in Italy.

This year’s edition ended yesterday with Italian Jannik Sinner beating world number one Carlos Alcaraz in the title match to win $5 million.

ATP chief executive Eno Polo said: “Nitto has been our trusted partner for almost a decade now. Their commitment to the Nitto ATP Finals has helped make it what it is today – a world-class experience for both fans and players.

“Their impact doesn’t stop there – they’ve fully embraced sustainability, leading the way in building an event that drives real, positive change. We’re proud to keep working with a partner equally invested in pushing our sport to new heights.”

Nitto’s renewal comes a year after the ATP Tour renewed its hosting deal with FITP to run through 2030, bringing Italy’s stewardship of the event to 10 editions, making it the third-longest running host of the event after New York City, US (1977-89) and London, UK (2009-20).

This year’s edition may be the last staged in Turin’s Pala Alpitour stadium, Italy’s largest indoor sporting arena, as part of a deal running through the 2025 edition.

The FITP has not put forward a host city from 2026 onwards, with Milan reportedly set to contend with Turin for future hosting rights.

It also comes two weeks after the ATP tour announced it is seeking a new host for its Next Gen ATP Finals end-of-season under-21 event after ending its contract with the Saudi Tennis Federation (STF).

Saudi city Jeddah was meant to be the host for the event until 2027, but the tour has now begun a new tender to find a new host for the event from the 2026 edition onwards after the STF triggered an opt-out clause three years into its five-year deal.

Saudi Arabia hosts the women’s WTA Finals in a deal running through 2027, while its Public Investment Fund is the official naming partner of both the ATP and WTA rankings.

Meanwhile, the ATP has renewed its partnership with Japanese tire brand Yokohama Rubber until 2028, which remains the tour's official tire partner and gold partner.

The renewal will also see the brand expand its presence in tennis by activating across a broader portfolio of events, including the Monte-Carlo Masters, Italian Open, Madrid Open, Hamburg Open, and ATP Finals.

Under the renewal, Yokohama also becomes the presenting partner of the ATP Hot Shot of the Month fan series. It will also continue to gain on-court and on-site brand visibility, as well as corporate hospitality at key ATP events.

Giovanni Angelo Ponzoni, chief executive of Yokohama Europe, said: “Through this renewed agreement, we aim to sustain Yokohama's premium brand awareness on a global scale while creating unique and exclusive experiences for our business partners.

“The ATP represents an exceptional platform to connect with a global community that shares our passion for precision and high performance. We look forward to continuing this successful journey together.”
