Iconic US stock car racing series Nascar has a new title partner for its Nascar Truck Series after striking a deal with heavy goods shipping service FedEx Freight.
Through a multi-year deal starting next year, the property – seen as Nascar's third-tier offering – is set to be known as the Nascar FedEx Freight Truck Series.

In addition, FedEx Freight – in what is the newly independent brand's first significant sports sponsorship agreement – becomes the series' official freight shipping partner for the stock car racing property across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
FedEx Freight – which was spun out of FedEx Corporation as a whole in June – replaces tool and outdoor equipment brand Craftsman (owned by Stanley Black & Decker) as title partner for the Truck Series, a position it had held since 2023 (and before that, in the 1990's and 2000's).
The partnership will be activated and promoted across key markets surrounding FedEx Freight disribution locations.
The shipping brand will use this deal, and Nascar's national reach, to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
Craig Stimmel, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Nascar, commented: "FedEx Freight choosing Nascar for a brand investment of this magnitude says a lot about where our sport is today and the value our platform can deliver to businesses looking to grow."
Last year also saw another Nascar property change its title sponsor, with its second-tier competition moving away from Xfinity into a deal with O'Reilly Auto Parts.
In terms of more recent commercial activity, meanwhile, mid-August saw a tie-up with credit card company Avant announced.
In early July, Nascar and US-based digital media brand Motorsport Network disclosed a partnership.
The 2026 Nascar Truck Series got underway on February 13 in Florida, and will run through the Championship Race in early November (to be held in that same state).
Fox Sports holds exclusive domestic media rights to the series.
