The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced a renewal with vehicle brand MG, which will continue as the official automotive partner of the men’s 2026 Davis Cup Final Eight national teams tournament.
The extension builds on MG’s original agreement struck ahead of the 2025 edition and will see the brand provide official transportation services for players, teams, staff, and VIPs during the tournament, which will be held in Italy’s Bologna from November 24 to 29.

The fleet used will include MG’s hybrid and electric models, including the MG ZS and MG HS.
As part of the agreement, MG will also gain a greater presence at the event, including fan zone activations and product placement for its latest car models.
The 2026 Davis Cup season began last month with the first round of qualifiers, in which 13 match winners advanced to the next round.
The seven ties in the second round of qualifiers, played from September 18 to 20, will decide the seven teams that will join hosts and defending champions Italy at the 2026 Final Eight in November.
The renewal adds to the ITF’s growing portfolio of Davis Cup sponsors, including multi-year deals with Swiss luxury watch brand Rolex, yoghurt brand Fage, and Betsson, which becomes the tournament’s official sports betting partner from this year’s edition.
Elsewhere in men’s tennis, the second-tier ATP 500 Barcelona Open tournament has extended its title sponsorship with Banco Sabadell, the Spanish financial services company, until at least 2028.
The three-year renewal includes an option for a further year and will mark two decades of partnership between the pair – one of the longest-running sponsorships in tennis history.
The 2026 edition of the clay-court tournament is due to run from April 11 to 19 at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899 and will feature several top players, including Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur, and Felix Auger-Aliassime, who are already confirmed to play.
