Saran, the Turkish media group, has secured domestic rights to the Davis Cup, the annual men’s national team tennis tournament, until 2024.

Under a deal with Kosmos Tennis, the Spanish investment group that has revamped the competition, Saran will provide live television coverage of the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Davis Cup Finals and the qualifiers.

Through the agreement, Saran will hold the exclusive pay-TV rights live and delayed, highlights, and clips rights across all existing platforms, including TV, over-the-top, online, and mobile within the territory.

The Davis Cup Finals will be held between November 22 and 27 in Malaga, Spain.

Earlier this week, L’Equipe, the French free-to-air digital terrestrial channel, renewed its rights deal for the Davis Cup.

The broadcaster, alongside pay-TV heavyweight BeIN Sports, will cover the group stage of this year’s tournament in mid-September.

Since 2019, the Davis Cup has undergone major reforms after the International Tennis Federation (ITF) signed a 25-year, $3-billion partnership with Kosmos Tennis, founded by Spanish soccer star Gerad Pique, with significant backing from Rakuten, the Japanese e-commerce giant.

Kosmos agreed to a long-term deal with the ITF in 2018 to revamp the competition, replacing home and away fixtures with the World Cup-style finals event.
