Spanish basketball’s top-tier ACB has agreed a two-year rights deal with Indian digital sports platform FanCode.

Under the agreement, the service will show all competitions under the ACB banner in India and the Indian subcontinent for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.

The competitions include the 18-team Liga Endesa, as well as both the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa.

In addition to live games, FanCode will air the ACB’s weekly magazine-style feature show The Fifth Quarter, which includes highlights from all the games and special features.

Last week, the ACB announced an extended broadcast rights deal with Sharjah Sports in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and a new agreement with Hi! Sports in Mexico.

In recent months, the Spanish top flight also secured agreements with Anthem Sport & Entertainment in Canada, Stod 2 Sport (Iceland), Elisa (Finland), and Charlton (Israel) for the 2022-23 campaign.

The regular season began on September 28 and will conclude with the finals in June 2023.

The deal expands FanCode’s basketball offering as it also holds rights to North America’s NBA.

The platform has developed a strong sports portfolio in recent years and also shows soccer, cricket, and American football.

FanCode is owned by the same holding company, Dream Sports, as Dream11, the Indian fantasy sports platform.
