Pay-TV broadcaster TNT Sports has signed a multi-year agreement to add the LIV Golf League to its sports offering, beginning this month.

As part of the deal, the broadcaster and its Discovery+ streaming platform will broadcast all 14 global events on the calendar each year.

TNT Sports will also look to provide an on-site presence, delivering coverage across the LIV Golf season.

The 2025 LIV campaign was shown in the UK by commercial broadcaster ITV, which notably marked the return of live golf to free-to-air television in the market.

The US PGA Tour and golf’s four majors are shown in the UK by Sky.

All four majors are also shown in the DACH region by Sky, with coverage of LIV Golf now added to its offering.

The pay-TV heavyweight has additionally snapped up rights to the Asian Tour and will air at least 30 events and nearly 600 hours of live coverage annually across the two tours on its Sky Sport channel. All golf broadcasts on Sky Sport will also be available on the Sky Stream TV platform.

The LIV partnership begins with live coverage of the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions event, taking place between today and Sunday at Black Diamond Ranch in Florida, where a field of nearly 80 players will compete for three Wild Card positions in the 2026 LIV Golf League season.

German audiences will have a particular interest in Martin Kaymer, the country’s most recent men’s major champion.

Sky offers more than 1,000 hours of live golf coverage each year, with additional content including the US Senior Open, the Senior PGA Championship, and the ISPS Handa Open.

In addition, it holds rights to all major women's tournaments in 2026, including the Solheim Cup, all five women's majors, the Ladies PGA Tour, and the Ladies European Tour.

However, the broadcaster recently lost rights to the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and the Ryder Cup to MagentaTV, the over-the-top (OTT) German platform owned by telecoms giant Deutsche Telekom.

Meanwhile, Viaplay’s multi-year deal with LIV Golf will cover Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland.

The streaming service’s coverage will also begin with the LIV Golf Promotions event, followed by the season-opening LIV Golf Riyadh tournament taking place from February 4 to 7.

Viaplay adds LIV Golf to a live sports portfolio in the Nordics that features Formula 1 (motor racing), the English Premier League and Bundesliga (soccer), and PDC darts.

The 2026 LIV Golf Season features 14 events across 10 countries and five continents, including the league’s first-ever event in South Africa (March 19-22), as well as stops in Adelaide, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, the USA, and the UK, among others.

This coming season will feature 57 players, including the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Joaquín Niemann, and Tyrrell Hatton, alongside Masters champions Sergio García, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and Phil Mickelson competing across 13 teams, alongside five Wild Card entrants.

After a controversial entry into the golf picture with its debut season in 2022, LIV Golf has finally built out a portfolio of major broadcasters for its events. Last year, it struck its most significant rights deal, a multi-year agreement in the US with Fox Sports.

The series also has deals with Coupang Play in South Korea and Movistar Plus+ in Spain.
