Barcelona, the reigning champions of Spanish soccer's top-tier LaLiga, have brought in popular headwear brand New Era as a new club commercial partner.

Through a tie-up unveiled today, New Era becomes the Catalan club's official headwear licensee, with the two parties now set to launch an exclusive headwear collection.

This collection goes live on October 30, via the New Era online and in-person stores.

In terms of Barcelona's commercial activity, earlier this month, they announced an extended long-term sponsorship deal covering front-of-shirt branding and stadium naming rights with Swedish audio streaming heavyweight Spotify.

Through the renewal, the company’s logo will continue to feature on both the men’s and women’s first team jerseys and the front of the training kits through 2030, while Spotify will retain naming rights to the LaLiga club’s iconic Camp Nou until 2034.

Barcelona currently sit second in the LaLiga 2025-26 table, having lost to arch-rivals Real Madrid last weekend, in the latest instalment of the iconic El Clasico rivalry.

Elsewhere in LaLiga, Valencia have extended their sponsorship deal with kitchen suppliers Hosper Profesional.

Through a renewal disclosed earlier this week, Hosper International will continue as an official club supplier, and as a partner in the new spaces at the club's Nou Mestalla stadium, which is due to be completed in 2027.

Valencia are currently in the process of building their new home venue, with construction having begun in January (after a 16-year hiatus).

October has already seen Valencia hire international real estate firm CBRE to sell the land where its current home ground, the Mestalla, stands after the club moves to its Nou Mestalla stadium.

The plot of land is due to be vacant by mid-2027 once Valencia move to their new home, and offers potential for residential and tertiary uses, including hotel and office space.

Valencia currently lie 18th in LaLiga, in the final relegation zone space.

Finally, Real Sociedad have extended their tie-up with the local dealerships of the Toyota and Lexus car brands for another three years.

The agreement between those parties, first unveiled in 2022, has now been renewed until 2028.

Lexus San Sebastián and Toyota Euskoauto have both sponsored Real Sociedad since 2022, and are now set to continue supplying the club with its vehicles.

Real Sociedad's main club partner, through a three-year deal struck in August, is Baghdadi Capital.
