Poland's Robert Lewandowski, one of the most iconic footballers ever produced by the country, is currently a mainstay for LaLiga champions Barcelona (for which team Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny also plays).
The tender was made public and sent live on October 3, with a deadline for submitting bid forms of October 30 at 12:00 p.m. LaLiga expects to make a provisional award for these rights on November 6, and that a binding signature could arrive up to five working days after that.
Bids should be submitted to the audiovisualrights@laliga.es mailbox, which is also where all queries should be sent (with a deadline for these of October 16).
Package A covers all games across the cycle from the 20-team league. Package B offers most LaLiga fixtures throughout each campaign, except for the 30 games included in Package C (no more than one per matchday, held at a fixed time, 9 pm on a Saturday).

By GlobalDataIf Package A is awarded, then Packages B and C will not need to be allocated.
Aside from live rights, all packages also include the rights to support content, which is described as "archive footage, clips, selected evergreen feature content, programs from previous seasons, and highlights of the competition."
Any entity that purchases Package A may then sub-license the rights "to any third party in the territory, prior to LaLiga's written approval."
For the 2025-26 LaLiga season, which began in August and runs through late May, the Eleven Sports pay-TV broadcaster holds rights, with this campaign being the last in a five-season tie-up between the two parties. Some of these rights were subsequently sublicensed out to pay-TV's Canal Plus.
All three packages included in this tender can be distributed via any method – terrestrial TV, cable, satellite, internet, and over-the-top platforms.
Games from the second-tier LaLiga 2, and from the playoffs determining which team should be promoted to the top flight, are not included in the rights.
Meanwhile, the Spanish league is also putting out to tender rights to the next two seasons of the top-tier Copa del Rey (King's Cup) knockout competition.
That tender has a deadline of October 22, and covers the 2025-26 and 2026-27 Copa del Rey campaigns – with Barcelona the current cup holders.
In total, six lots are available, with Lot 1 split into four options, covering live rights. Lots 2 and 3 cover game summary rights, meanwhile, with Lot 4 giving broadcasters live rights to the 20 games from the 'territorial', preliminary phase of each Copa del Rey, Lot 5 offering summary rights, and Lot 6 containing rights to show 64 matches live and exclusively in "public establishments."
For the last cycle, covering the 2022-25 period, live Copa del Rey rights were held by a combination of public-service broadcaster RTVE and by Telefonica-owned Movistar Plus.
