Sport 24, the in-flight and on-ship entertainment service owned by international sports agency IMG, has renewed its broadcast partnership with English soccer’s Premier League for another three years.

Struck ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season, the deal will see Sport 24 continue to air more than 270 matches live on its channel each season until the end of the 2027-28 campaign.

The renewal builds on IMG’s previous three-year deal with the Premier League struck ahead of the 2022-23 season and running through the 2024-25 campaign. Under that deal, Sport24 aired five games a week, with 35 on the Sport 24 Extra platform, as well as weekly previews, reviews, and features.

Richard Wise, IMG’s senior vice president of content and channels, said: “Our research shows that 74% of passengers would prefer to watch live sport over other in-flight entertainment, and the Premier League remains one of the most popular sports leagues in the world.

“We’re delighted to extend our live coverage of the league, and passengers now have more ways to enjoy live sport onboard with Sport 24 than ever before, so they never have to miss a moment of the action.”

The agreement adds to Sport 24’s growing portfolio of live soccer rights, including the FIFA 2026 World Cup, UEFA’s top-tier Champions League and second-tier Europa League club competitions, the UEFA Nations League and AFC Asian Cup international teams tournaments, and the recently concluded UEFA 2025 Women’s Euro tournament and FIFA Club World Cup.

Beyond soccer, the channel, launched in 2012, also shows live action from motor racing’s prestigious Formula 1 series, basketball’s NBA, American football’s NFL (inflight only), the golf majors, the four tennis grand slams, and several cricket tournaments.

The deal renewal comes shortly after IMG unveiled Sport 24’s web player, which gives passengers access to the service’s content on their devices.

Sport 24 is available on 610 aircraft, including Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific, as well as 119 cruise ships, including Carnival Group, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Fred Olsen.

Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra are produced from IMG’s production HQ at Stockley Park.
