DAZN, the global sports streaming service, has hired sports marketing giant IMG to deliver its UK and global English-language programming for soccer’s upcoming FIFA Club World Cup competition.
Throughout the tournament, IMG will host DAZN’s global English production hub, providing production facilities and technical infrastructure, alongside global content operations, to deliver over 1,000 hours of the platform’s programming and content to viewers.
DAZN is the global broadcaster for the revamped Club World Cup – through a deal unveiled late last year – and will air all 63 matches around the world for free.
Its programming includes the daily post-game round-up show ‘The Press’, featuring the biggest moments from the tournament, social media reactions, and expert analysis, alongside pre- and post-game programming, which will be produced live from IMG’s virtual studio and facilities at Stockley Park.
IMG will also be home to the global content operations for DAZN's Club World Cup coverage.
This includes hosting DAZN’s central edit and graphics processes, and managing the delivery of interviews, press conferences, feature stories, and highlight packages to DAZN’s core markets, publishing partners, sublicensees, and soccer clubs worldwide.

The Club World Cup begins tomorrow (June 14), when Inter Miami face Egyptian team Al Ahly at the Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida.
Featuring an expanded 32 teams, the tournament will include several major soccer clubs, such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich, competing across 12 US venues between June 14 and July 13.
The new format will take place once every four years.
IMG is also the production partner for multiple soccer leagues and federations, including the English Premier League, Major League Soccer, English Football League, Saudi Pro League, and the CBS network’s UEFA Champions League coverage in the US.
The global agency yesterday announced it has secured the rights to broadcast live coverage of the Club World Cup to airlines and cruise ships around the world on its Sport 24 service, through a sublicensing deal with DAZN.
