The European Handball Federation (EHF) has extended its commercial tie-up with pump manufacturing heavyweight Grundfos until 2030.
Through a deal unveiled today, Denmark-based Grundfos will carry on as an official partner of the men's and women's EHF European Championships national team tournaments for the next three editions each.
The agreement covers the EHF Euros in 2026, 2028, and 2030 (with both men's and women's editions taking place in those years).
The partnership extension has been brokered by heavyweight sports marketing agency Infront, the exclusive media and marketing partner for the EHF Euros, which also has a deal running until 2030.
Over its last cycle as an EHF sponsor, Grundfos puts its name to the player of the match award at men's and women's Euros, with that initiative having begun at the men's Euros in 2020.
Overall, the commercial relationship between the two parties has lasted for almost two decades, during which time they have also worked "to strengthen the societal impact of handball events and raise awareness for the world's water and climate challenges."

By GlobalDataMartin Hausleitner, secretary general of the EHF, has said: "We are proud to see Grundfos prolonging its engagement and are looking forward to further raising awareness of sustainable actions through our partnership."
In terms of other EHF Euros commercial partners, mid-May saw the deal between the EHF and German supermarket chain Lidl extended.
Through the prolonged agreement, Lidl will continue to receive visibility across both TV and digital assets. The supermarket chain will also activate the sponsorship by presenting the ‘Best Young Player’ award.
Ulrik Gernow, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Grundfos, added: "Handball, a sport rooted in passion, unity, and performance, mirrors the spirit we bring to everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to continue our collaboration with the EHF and Infront."
The next men’s EHF Euro will be held in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway from January 15 to February 1, 2026.
The next Women’s EHF Euro, meanwhile, takes place from December 3 to 20 in Poland, Romania, Czechia, Slovakia, and Türkiye in the same year.
