Italian shipbuilding group Fincantieri has come on board as the latest sponsor of the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, to be held across the Milan-Cortina region of Northern Italy next February.

Through a tie-up unveiled yesterday (July 31), Fincantieri – also based in Northern Italy – joins the ranks of sponsors for the iconic multi-sport event, which will run between February 6 and 22.

Specifically, the Trieste firm becomes a sponsor of the Milano-Cortina Foundation.

The partnership will revolve around the Fincantieri everyDEI program.

In terms of recent commercial activity around the upcoming Winter Olympics, mid-June saw a deal struck with iconic Italian tire brand Pirelli.

Pirelli will be the exclusive supplier of winter tires for the fleet of cars and other vehicles that will be used for the transportation of athletes, staff, and other personnel during the Winter Games.
