This deal will begin with the November 28 FIBA World Cup qualifier against Belgium, and will run through the 2025 EuroBasket, with the inclusion of select youth-category fixtures across the term.

Speaking on the partnership, FIBA Media and Marketing Services director general Frank Leenders commented: “We are delighted to have secured this important collaboration with beIN SPORTS. It means FIBA now has an enviable broadcast position within the French market, when also taking into account the TF1 agreement signed several months ago.

BeIN already has a relationship with FIBA, having showcased the 2025 edition of EuroBasket on its channels.

Indeed, basketball is popular in France, where FIBA already has a broadcast partnership in place with commercial broadcaster TF1 to cover French national team games, also through 2029.
