The deal is a 50/50 split in terms of focus on the men's and women's games, covering both the national teams as well as grassroots and amateur soccer.
Philippe Diallo, the French Football Federation's president, has said: "The FFF has made women's football one of its top priorities for the coming years. Orange's support, with a partnership allocated 50% to men's football and 50% to women's football, will help us achieve our ambitions of doubling the number of our registered female players by 2030."
The previous agreement between Orange and the FFF was unveiled in June 2022, and was valued by GlobalData Sport at $6.5 million annually (running through to mid-2026).
Jérôme Hénique, chief executive at Orange France, added: "With the FFF, we have found an ideal partner to amplify the emotions while building a fairer and more equal playing field. This is the whole point of this renewed partnership, which marks a major step forward with, for the first time, an equal financial commitment to the development of men’s and women’s football."
