Extreme H, off-road motor racing’s hydrogen-based series, has extended its broadcast partnership with MBC Group, the Saudi-owned media company, for another two years.
The renewed agreement builds on the initial collaboration between the two for the inaugural Extreme H World Cup held in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, in October 2025.

The new deal will see all Extreme H World Cup programming, including live race coverage, highlight packages, and behind-the-scenes features, continue to be broadcast by MBC across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in English and Arabic.

Extreme H is the successor to Extreme E, the FIA governing body’s all-electric series that debuted in 2021, with last year’s ‘Final Lap’ event on October 4 and 5 marking the end of the electric series and its replacement by the hydrogen-based series.

The FIA had initially planned for Extreme H to become an official world championship for 2026, but in December 2024, it announced the launch of the Extreme H World Cup for 2025 instead.
The nascent hydrogen event features an off-road race format to showcase the viability of hydrogen power as a clean energy solution.
Last month, Sony Pictures Network (SPN), the Indian pay-TV broadcaster, extended its rights to the Extreme H World Cup through the 2028 season.
