Excel Sports Management, the prominent sports and commercial agency, has announced the appointment of Danny Paiser as its new vice president and managing director for international properties.

In his new role, Paiser will oversee the sale of commercial raghts internationally for partnered sports properties, and will continue to aid the expanded internationalization of the business’ global client base.

Paiser has recently served as a strategic advisor for the Ingage Games fan engagement focused tech company, and the Al-Hilal Saudi Arabian soccer side, where he had been international commercial lead.

Prior to that, he had been senior vice president for commercial at agency KIN partners, where he served between July 2020 and March 2024.

He also had a long spell at soccer multi-club ownership group City Football Group between 2013 and 2019, where he held a number of roles including regional manager for Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA), head of regional partnerships, vice president and head of partnership sales, director of tours, and vice president for partnerships EMEA.

Prior to that, between 2005 and 2013, Paiser also held a number of roles at the Soccerex events company, including sales director.

Speaking on Paiser’ s appointment, Excel Sport senior vice president of properties and corporate partnerships Preetam Sen said: “Danny brings an exceptional track record in building and commercializing global sports properties, along with deep relationships and a strong understanding of the international sports ecosystem.

“He is a highly respected collaborator who knows how to align brands, rightsholders, and agencies in impactful ways, and his leadership will be instrumental in accelerating the continued global expansion of our properties business.” 

Paiser will report to Sen, and will be based in London, UK.

To facilitate the continued growth of that properties division has undergone, director for corporate partnerships Brody Mankus will be elevated to senior director of corporate partnerships, and will also move to London in order to maintain that trajectory.

Excel’s portfolio of clients includes sides from across the major US leagues NBA and WNBA (both basketball), MLS (soccer), NHL (Ice hockey), MLB (baseball), NFL (American football), and college sports’ NCAA, as well as English soccer’s Premier League, and global motor racing’s Formula 1.
