English Premier League soccer side Everton has found a new primary front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2026-27 campaign and beyond, with UK financial services firm CMC Markets signing up.

The new partnership, reportedly worth £30 million ($40.5 million), was first reported back in April, and this agreement will also cover Everton’s associated women’s and youth-category teams.

This will also branding across the club’s 52,000-seater Hill Dickinson Stadium, its old 39, 414-capacity Goodison Park stadium (now home of the Everton Women’s team), and at the Finch Farm training center.

Also included will be branding across the club’s social media and digital channels, while activations will focus on grassroots community programs.

Speaking on the renewed deal, Everton president of business operations Andrew Middleton commented: “This is an important agreement for the Club and one that will play a key role in our continued commercial growth. Partnerships of this scale help us strengthen revenues, build a more sustainable platform for success and support our ambitions on and off the pitch.”

Everton has also renewed their partnership with gambling firm Stake, which will now serve as the team’s sleeve sponsor on a multi-year deal, shifting its branding from the front-of-shirt primary slot to the secondary one.

This new agreement, which will cover the 2026-27 campaign and beyond, ensures that Stake will also retain coverage of the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Goodison Park, and Finch Farm.

On this deal, Middleton said: “Stake has been a major supporter of Everton over the past four seasons, and this agreement reflects both the strength of our relationship and the continued growth of Everton’s commercial partnership portfolio.

“It also provides continuity with a partner that understands the club, our supporters and the global reach of Everton Football Club.

“As we continue to build commercial momentum, this agreement demonstrates the value partners see in Everton, our new stadium, and the direction of the club.”

Stake has been Everton’s primary front-of-shirt sponsor since the 2022-23 campaign, in what was a club-record deal valuation.

However, the coming imposition of a voluntary ban on gambling front-of-shirt sponsors across the Premier League means that the initial agreement had a natural expiration date.

Now, rather than part ways permanently, Stake will remain a sponsor of Everton, taking up a sleeve sponsorship slot that is becoming more valuable league-wide given the imposition of restrictions on front-of-shirt agreements.

Stake chief marketing officer Akhil Sarin added: “Stake is built around sport, entertainment, and culture. The partnerships we choose are deliberate, ambitious, built on innovation, and a genuine connection to our global communities.

“Over the past four years, Everton has provided Stake with a powerful platform to connect with audiences around the world, and we have valued the opportunity to support the club during a landmark period in its history.

The renewed commitment perhaps comes as a surprise given that Stake had to exit the UK market in early 2025, owing to a probe from the UK Gambling Commission.

Either way, Everton had to find a new sponsor for their most lucrative piece of sponsorship inventory going forward, without the benefit of one of the most lucrative industries, the gambling industry, to call upon.

To that end, in October 2025, Everton appointed the US-based Range Sports agency to find the club a new primary shirt sponsor for its men's team

In all, Everton are one of eight Premier League clubs that have had to change their affiliation due to the new rulings. Although the number was 11 teams in total in the 2025-26 season, three of those teams (Burnley, West Ham, Wolves) were relegated, and none of the three promoted teams coming up in their place (Coventry, Ipswich Town, Hull City) utilized gambling sponsorships last year anyway.

The likes of Crystal Palace and  Brentford have also already replaced their respective betting sponsors.
