EverPass Media, the platform that delivers live sports content to commercial businesses, has been selected by American football’s NFL to distribute the league’s opening week game in Brazil for the 2025 season.

The company will be the commercial distributor in the US for the game taking place on September 5 in São Paulo, between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Through the agreement, bars, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial venues in the US will be able to stream the game, including the pre-and post-game shows, exclusively via the EverPass platform.

This will be the NFL’s first international game of the upcoming 2025 season.

The deal builds on EverPass’ existing relationship with the NFL as the exclusive commercial distributor for the NFL Sunday Ticket offering.

Alex Kaplan, CEO of EverPass Media, has said: “We’re pleased to continue to build our relationship with the NFL to bring this highly anticipated week one Friday night game to millions of fans across the country.

“NFL games are ‘must-have’ content for business owners, and at EverPass, we’re helping bridge the gap between rightsholders and the commercial market, providing a comprehensive solution to broaden accessibility and helping expand out-of-home viewership in a highly fragmented media environment.”

Brent Lawton, vice president of business development and strategic investments at the NFL, added: “EverPass has proven to be an effective distribution platform for the commercial market.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with EverPass for the September 5 game in São Paulo, Brazil, and deliver our game to commercial establishments across the country.”

As previously announced in May, YouTube will exclusively distribute the São Paulo game to residential consumers globally.

Additional EverPass sports offerings include Peacock Sports Pass (featuring English soccer’s Premier League, Big Ten football, and basketball), and the UEFA Champions League via the Paramount+ streaming service.
