European basketball’s elite EuroLeague has returned to BeIN Sports, the international pay-TV powerhouse, in the French Market, with a one-year deal that offers stability after a tumultuous 2025-26 campaign in France.
BeIN’s coverage will center on the EuroLeague’s two current French sides, Paris Basket and LDLC ASVEL, with the broadcaster showcasing both teams’ games each matchweek, as well as a third top-pick fixture every week.

Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
That coverage agreement will span the EuroLeague regular season, postseason play-offs, and the showpiece Final Four.
It will begin with the season-opening SuperCup tournament, the new annual event, which will take place on September 18 and 19 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, featuring major teams Olympiacos Piraeus, Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul, 2026 finalist Real Madrid, and Dubai Basketball.
Coverage will be supported by ancillary content throughout the season, including news content provided on BeIN’s linear channels, and social media platforms.
This agreement will span France, neighboring territories Andorra and Monaco, and all of France’s overseas territories also.
Speaking on the deal, EuroLeague Basketball chief marketing officer Alex Ferrer Kristjansson commented: “BeIN’s strong presence in the French sports media landscape will help us reach an even wider audience, while giving fans greater access to the passion, excitement and excellence of European basketball. With the basketball community in France continuing to grow, we are delighted to work with beIN to make our competition more accessible and further strengthen its connection with fans across the country.”
BeIN Sports France programming and on-air director Florent Houzot added: “We are particularly proud to add the EuroLeague to our lineup and to enable our subscribers to follow Europe’s most prestigious basketball competition.”
The broadcaster, for its part, already boasts a wide-ranging basketball portfolio that includes FIBA national team competition, the US' elite NBA and WNBA, and US NCAA college basketball.
Houzot continued: “With the EuroLeague, we are taking a new step forward by broadcasting matches involving French clubs as well as the marquee matchup of each round, thereby offering our subscribers the very best of European basketball.”
BeIN previously aired EuroLeague coverage between 2013 and 2017, before losing the rights.
For the last four campaigns, Fedcom Media and its Skweek platform had broadcast the EuroLeague, but earlier in 2026 the basketball organizer terminated its contract with the OTT platform, citing a “repeated failure” to honor its contract.
That announcement was paired with the relaunch of the EuroLeague TV direct-to-consumer platform in the country.
