Dyn Media, the German sports streaming platform, has bolstered its handball portfolio by securing exclusive rights for the EHF Champions League, EHF Champions League Women, and EHF European League competitions until 2030 in the DACH region.
In a deal brokered by EHF Marketing, the commercial arm of the European Handball Federation, the streaming service will exclusively broadcast every match featuring German clubs in those competitions from the 2026-27 season in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

As part of the four-year agreement, all matches from the men’s knockout stages, the men’s and women’s EHF Final4, and the respective EHF Finals will be shown live.
The matches will also be available on demand on Dyn. Selected games as well as additional content related to European club handball will be featured on the free-to-air channel, Dyn Sport Mix.
The platform will further complement its live handball coverage with background reports, documentaries, and original formats.
Dyn has been covering the EHF competitions in the DACH region since the 2023-24 season, but through a sub-licensing deal with international sports streaming service DAZN. The platform now becomes the exclusive rightsholder for the first time.

By GlobalDataThe EHF claims that audience figures for the men’s EHF Champions League and the EHF European League almost doubled in the first half of 2025-26 on Dyn compared to the previous season.
Last month, EHF Marketing announced it was taking back responsibility for sales and management of media rights to its continental club competitions, prematurely ending its 10-year contract with Infront.
The sports marketing agency's contract had been due to run until 2030, but the long-term agreement between the two will now conclude on 1 July 2026.
EHF Marketing already sells sponsorship rights to the men’s and women’s EHF Champions League and EHF European League. This came under its remit after the contract originally announced with Infront and DAZN (then Perform Group) in May 2018 was subsequently amended in January 2023.
David Szlezak, managing director of EHF Marketing, said: “By EHF Marketing taking back the responsibility for sales and management of the media and marketing rights for the club competitions, we put ourselves in the position to fully coordinate the media distribution, competition development, and commercial strategies for club handball in Europe.
“The agreement reached with Dyn is a significant first step within our strategy to work directly with broadcasters, creating a stable and future-oriented media environment for our competitions in the DACH region.
“We already got to know the passionate and professional way Dyn lives handball, and I am looking forward to working together to develop the future in which we will deliver premium production, exciting storytelling, and extensive distribution that will resonate perfectly not only with our handball fans, but with the full addressable market in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.”
Marcel Wontorra, COO of Dyn Media, added: "With this new agreement with EHF Marketing, we are becoming the exclusive rights holder of the Machineseeker EHF Champions League, the EHF Champions League Women, and the EHF European League for the first time.
“This further cements Dyn’s position as the go-to destination of handball – a platform that, alongside national club competitions and national team matches, will continue to showcase clashes between all top teams in European club handball."
The deal maintains Dyn’s dominance over major handball rights in Germany and comes just months after it also secured a deal with the EHF for the 2026 European Championships men's and women's national teams tournaments.
The OTT platform’s stable of handball competitions additionally includes the men's and women's domestic Bundesliga competitions in Germany.
