SeatGeek has been a partner of the Cavaliers since 2020 and handles ticketing for all events at the team’s 19,432-capacity Rocket Arena home, as well as all properties owned by the Rock Entertainment Group.
This includes all games for the Cavaliers, its NBA G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, the American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters, and the Cavs Legion NBA2K esports team, as well as concerts and other events at the venue.
Through five games of the 2026-27 NBA season, the Cavaliers have a winning record of three wins and two losses.
The franchise has made the playoffs in each of the past four seasons, including a run to the Eastern Conference Finals last season.
Elsewhere in the basketball world, wearable sports tech brand Whoop has extended and expanded its partnership with former Cavs star LeBron James.
Whoop claims that James, a legend for the Cavs, Miami Heat, and LA Lakers franchises, and arguably the greatest player in NBA history, has worn its tech since 2015.
This new agreement formalizes his role as a global brand ambassador, through which he will appear in global marketing campaigns, content, and activations across Whoop’s social media and digital channels.
James, currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers in his 24th NBA season, is already a minority stakeholder in the fitness brand.
Earlier in 2026, Whoop was valued at $10.1 billion and attracted $575 million in investment led by investment funds 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), and Mubadala Investment, and including celebrity athlete investors like James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Rory McIlroy.
