The Confederation of African Football (CAF) regional soccer governing body has kept up its commercial activity ahead of the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which gets underway in late December.
The organization has now unveiled a sponsorship deal with Japanese car brand Suzuki, which also covers the Women's AFCON – both men's and women's national teams tournaments are set to take place in Morocco, with the men's event running between December 21 and January 18, and the women's tournament set to be held between March 17 and April 3.

The tie-up also covers the CAF Champions League in 2026-27, and the CAF Confederation Cup in the same season.
CAF has said the deal will involve both parties working to "enhance fan engagement, celebrate African football excellence, and strengthen CAF's global commercial platform."
In terms of CAF commercial activity, in late September, the federation brought in Moroccan brand Sidi Ali – part of the Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmès bottled water firm – as a new commercial partner.
July also saw CAF announce the extension and expansion of its commercial tie-up with Apsonic, a motorcycle manufacturer.

Oil and gas giant TotalEnergies will title-sponsor the upcoming AFCON, through a deal announced in January that covers 12 CAF competitions and events in total.
Suzuki, meanwhile, is also a sponsor of the Cricket South Africa national governing body, through an April deal.
