International commercial agency CAA’s sports arm has furthered its expansion into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market, announcing the hiring of two new vice-presidents for the region.
Jumpei Hashimoto will become CAA Sports APAC’s first Japan-based employee, working out of Tokyo, while Brianna Seo will join “as a senior hire” in Seoul, South Korea.

Both will serve as vice presidents of partnerships, growing CAA Sports’ presence in APAC, with a focus on “developing commercial partnerships and brand-building opportunities,” while supporting existing CAA Sports clients in the region.
CAA has worked to bolster its presence in APAC over the past year, creating the role of vice president of partnerships back in June 2025 with the appointment of Seoul-based Seijan Gahng.
CAA Sports boasts partners such as motor racing’s Formula 1, the Red Bull Racing F1 team, esports organization Riot Games, and T1 Entertainment, English soccer giants Chelsea, and US soccer side LAFC. It also represents individual talent, including South Korean soccer star Son Heung-Min.
Hashimoto joins from Japanese commercial agency Dentsu, where he most recently served as chief director of that giant's sports business produce division.

By GlobalDataIn all, Hashimoto boasts 20 years of experience in the industry, primarily at Dentsu over two spells, split by a period at the Team Marketing agency aiding account management and rights delivery for soccer’s elite UEFA Champions League tournament.
Seo, meanwhile, joins from the top-tier Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) property, where she had been senior group director in South Korea, having spent over 10 years on the commercial side of the golf organization.
Hashimoto and Seo will report to CAA Sports APAC president and CAA board member Adrian Staiti, who was appointed as the regional business unit’s president upon its formation in 2021, and the global co-heads of the agency’s sports property sales business, Alexa Cook and Rob Slocum.
On their appointments, Staiti commented: “Jumpei and Brianna bring proven expertise across the sports agency landscape, brands, and rights holders in their respective territories, and their market insight and established relationships will make them valuable resources for our clients and the wider CAA business.”
Staiti joined CAA from agency Sportfive, where he had been president of APAC and president of global sales for over 10 years, and was joined by Chen, who relocated from CAA’s London office.
Matthew O’Donohoe, president of CAA Sports International, added: “Asia continues to be a priority growth region for CAA Sports, and these appointments reflect our commitment to strengthening our presence in Korea while breaking new ground in Japan.
“Both markets [Japan and South Korea] present significant opportunities for long-term partnership development, as Korea remains one of the most influential cultural markets in the world and Japan is home to some of the most recognizable brands, creators, and global platforms.”
