International pay-TV sports heavyweight BeIN Media Group has extended its exclusive broadcast partnership with English soccer’s top-tier Premier League in 24 territories across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The multi-year extension will run through the 2027-28 campaign, with the media company’s BeIN Sports slate of channels to showcase all 380 Premier League games each season, with streaming coverage to come via its TOD streaming service.

These live and exclusive games will be broadcast with both English- and Arabic-language coverage, with additional programming such as magazine shows and shoulder content including pre- and post-match analysis, as well as daily highlights broadcasts and weekly wrap-up programs.

BeIN has broadcast the Premier League across the MENA region since 2013, and its existing three-year contract with the Premier League expired at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 24-territory deal includes major markets such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, along with a host of other major players in the region.

That deal was valued at around $500 million, with this new partnership, first reported in 2023, said to be worth about £550 million ($742.3million).

Speaking on the partnership, BeIN MENA chief executive Mohammad Al-Subaie commented: “This renewal not only signifies our enduring commitment to providing the highest quality sports content on BeIN Sports and reinforces our leading position in the MENA region, but also demonstrates the trust that the Premier League has in us.”

Premier League chief media officer Paul Molnar added: “This renewal reflects our shared commitment to delivering world-class football and providing the best possible, localised viewing experience. We look forward to continuing our close collaboration on a variety of content and promotional initiatives, bringing the Premier League even closer to our passionate fans in this important region.”

As the most financially powerful and perhaps most prominent soccer league in Europe, and thus the world, the Premier League naturally boasts legions of international viewers.

Of particular interest in the MENA market, however, will be the likes of Algeria’s Rayan Aït-Nouri (Manchester City), Egypt’s Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Omar Marmoush (Manchester City), Morocco’s Nayef Aguerd (West Ham), Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United) and Chadi Riad (Crystal Palace), and Tunisia’s Hannibal (Burnley).

The 24 territories included in the deal are: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Dijbouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

Other soccer rights held by BeIN in the region include European soccer’s elite UEFA Club competitions, and in the 2024-25 campaign, BeIN also broadcast England’s knockout FA Cup competition.
