International sports broadcaster BeIN has extended its rights deal covering English soccer's knockout FA Cup competition through the 2025-26 campaign.
The extension was unveiled in advance of the 2024-25 FA Cup final on Saturday (May 17), in which Crystal Palace beat Manchester City 1-0.
BeIN has covered the FA Cup live for French audiences since 2012, and will show next year's competition exclusively in the territory.
French players currently form a significant block amongst top-tier English squads, with Crystal Palace's team from the weekend's final including Jean-Philippe Mateta and Maxence Lacroix, for example.
Aside from France, BeIN also covered the 2024-25 FA Cup across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and a number of Southeast Asian markets.
In terms of coverage of other English soccer competitions in France, the top-tier Premier League is shown live by pay-TV's Canal Plus, in a deal running through 2027-28, while the Women's Super League has been shown live in that market by W-Sports and the Eurovision Sport platform.

Elsewhere, BeIN has extended its strategic partnership with Malaysian pay-TV heavyweight Astro until August 2027.
The deal renewal, unveiled today (May 19), means that subscribers to the Astro Sports Pack service will continue to be able to watch BeIN's range of sports channels, both live and on-demand, as well as the BeIN Sports Connect app, for the length of the deal.
BeIN currently holds various top-tier sports rights in Malaysia, including covering motor racing's Formula 1, pan-European soccer's UEFA Champions League, and tennis' Australian and French Opens.
Astro One Sports Pack customers can watch BeIN content via linear TV or through BeIN Sports Connect, both live and on-demand (either through BeIN Sports Connect or Astro Go).
In terms of Astro's own set of premium sports rights, this stable includes properties such as the Premier League and FA Cup, basketball's top-tier NBA, and local Liga Malaysia soccer league.
