Aurora Media Worldwide, the international content production company, has signed up as the host broadcast partner for motor racing's World Rallycross Championship (WorldRX) and European Rallycross Championship in 2025.
Aurora will supply the international host broadcast feed for the 2025 seasons of both competitions, while also providing feature programming, digital content, and event highlights.
This tie-up comes with the 2025 World Rallycross season having gotten underway last weekend in Lousada, Portugal. Another five events are scheduled to take place during this year's campaign, starting with a stop in Sweden on July 5 and 6.
The coverage from Aurora will include drone cameras, feeds from onboard each racing car, as well as data-led graphics.
In March, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) announced it would be taking control of WorldRX in-house for the 2025 season and beyond, following three months of market testing (in which time, the organization failed to find an outside promoter to bring in).
Emilia Abel, road sport director at the FIA, has said: "We are fully committed to taking the FIA World and European Rallycross Championships to the next level – expanding its global reach and delivering innovative and exciting formats for drivers, teams, commercial partners, and crucially, the fans. We’re delighted to partner with Aurora, whose expertise in broadcast innovation and storytelling will be instrumental in delivering this vision.”

By GlobalDataMatt Beal, Aurora's chief broadcast officer, added: "The FIA World Rallycross Championship has always had the raw ingredients of a standout motorsport series – unpredictable racing, bold characters, and a passionate fanbase. Across motorsport, Aurora already works with the Extreme H and Formula E properties.
In terms of Aurora's other sporting tie-ups, meanwhile, it is currently also working with the lucrative and controversial LIV Golf property.
