Liga Asobal, Spain’s top handball league, has hired sports technology giant Sportradar to manage the international marketing and distribution of its audiovisual rights.
The agreement also includes the management and use of the competition's official data, which the league described as an “increasingly important asset for the development of professional sport.”

Liga Asobal said the collaboration “will help drive new applications related to advanced data analysis, technological innovation, and the creation of valuable experiences for fans, broadcasters, media, and commercial partners.”
The tie-up is part of Asobal’s growth and internationalization strategy, as the competition seeks to strengthen its global profile and expand the reach of its content in new markets.
The league has enlisted Sportradar's services to “enhance its visibility among broadcasters, audiovisual platforms, and fans worldwide.”

Asobal becomes the latest sports property to partner with Sportradar, joining basketball’s NBA and WNBA, soccer’s UEFA, FIFA, Conmebol, AFC, MLS, and Bundesliga, the ATP (tennis) NHL (ice hockey), MLB (baseball), PGA Tour (golf).
