Chinese mobile streaming heavyweight Migu has struck a major four-year rights deal with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regional soccer body.
The deal runs through the 2025-26 to 2028-29 cycle and will see Migu become the media partner in China for a range of top-tier AFC national team and club competitions.

The list includes the 2027 Asian Cup (Saudi Arabia) and 2026 Women's Asian Cup (Australia) national teams tournaments, as well as club competitions such as the Champions League Elite, the Champions League Two, and the Women's Champions League.
In addition, the remaining qualifiers in the AFC zone for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are included in the agreement, although China has already been knocked out of contention to make it to that tournament next year.
The platform will cover the action via its flagship Migu Video site, "offering fans in China unparalleled access to premier Asian football content," the AFC has said.
Migu also covered the previous edition of the men's Asian Cup, held in Qatar across January and February last year, along with a host of other AFC competitions and tournaments during the 2021-24 cycle.

Going forward, Migu will serve as the exclusive digital rightsholder in China for FIBA competitions for the next four years.
In terms of soccer rights, meanwhile, Migu also covered the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this year.
For the AFC, meanwhile, one of the most recent broadcast rights deals announced by that body came in early August, a tie-up with BG Sports in Thailand.
