Multinational events heavyweight Sela has brought in UK-based sports and TV production firm Whisper to produce the upcoming boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Arslanbek Makhmudov in London.

Whisper will act as the full-service production partner for the fight, which will be aired exclusively live to a global audience via content heavyweight Netflix.

The company will deliver every aspect of the fight, including the pre-event press conference and weigh-in.

The fight itself will take place on April 11 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UK capital.

Whisper's previous work in boxing includes delivering the global productions of iconic fights such as Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois, Usyk vs Anthony Joshua, and Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul.

Earlier this month, meanwhile, it was revealed that the firm is set to return to private ownership, with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) divesting its 30% shareholding in Whisper.

SPT will leave with a “significant return” on its original investment after supporting the growth of the company for five years.

During that time, Whisper claims to have seen profit and revenue grow almost 500%.

The company holds TV production contracts in elite motor racing with Formula 1, on free-to-air broadcaster Channel 4, cricket, boxing, the French Open tennis grand slam, and the Paralympic Games.

Sela, originally a Saudi Arabian events company, launched its international arm (based in London) last March.

The firm is owned by the Saudi government through the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) sovereign wealth vehicle.
