World Team Tennis (WTT), the mixed-gender professional tennis league returning after a five-year absence, has struck a media rights deal with the USA Sports broadcast division of Versant.
Through a tie-up unveiled yesterday, USA Sports – which is responsible for sports airing on broadcasters including USA Network, CNBC, Golf Channel, and streaming platform Fandango – will exclusively air all six WTT matches coming up this December on CNBC, in primetime.

Fandango, meanwhile, will stream all six events – between three clubs, representing New York City, Toronto in Canada, and Florida – for free.
Celia Kohl, senior vice president of strategy and business development at Versant, commented: "USA Sports is always looking to bring growth-minded leagues that innovate and excite into our portfolio, and we believe WTT is one of those leagues that will resonate with our audiences across both CNBC and Fandango."
Stephen Amritraj, World Team Tennis' chief executive, added: "In creating a new era of World Team Tennis, our goal is to build a sports and entertainment property that delivers value to fans wherever they are, while tapping into adjacent audiences that can help grow the sport. Versant’s portfolio is uniquely compelling because it allows us to do both."
The last World Team Tennis season was in 2021, with the series having originally been launched by icon Billie Jean King in 1974.
The 2026 season later this year will see matches run between December 1 and 15.
The three prominent players known to be competing are Jessica Pegula, Denis Shapovalov, and Tommy Paul.
The core set of sports rights held by USA Sports and Versant currently includes properties such as women's basketball's WNBA, golf's PGA Tour, stock car racing's Nascar, and German soccer's top-tier Bundesliga.
It also covers growing leagues such as volleyball's LOVB and Pro Padel.
