TV3 Group, the prominent Baltics media house, has renewed its exclusive broadcast deal with UK-based boxing promotion Boxxer.
The new deal will see Boxxer’s events continue to be aired on the broadcaster’s TV3 Sport commercial linear channel and Go3 streaming service in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
It extends a partnership that began in March 2021.
Boxxer’s next event is on Saturday (March 25) in Manchester, UK, and sees Lawrence Okolie defend his WBO world cruiserweight title against David Light.
The promotion is broadcast domestically in the UK and in Ireland by pay TV’s Sky Sports under a four-year deal that began in 2021.
Ben Shalom, founder and chief executive of Boxxer, said: “We’re delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with TV3 Group. Our continued international growth is very exciting and given TV3 Group’s leading position in the region, they are the optimal partner to bring Boxxer’s events to fans in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. We look forward to a huge year ahead together.”
