TrueVisions, the prominent pay-television broadcaster in Thailand, has struck a domestic rights deal for the 2024-25 Thai League 1 soccer competition.

The deal has been struck with less than two weeks to go until the start of the 2024-25 campaign, which begins on August 9.

Last season’s Thai League 1 was not covered domestically, after failure to agree a broadcast deal.

In addition to the League 1 coverage, TrueVisions will also show action from the second-tier League 2 and the FA Cup knockout competition.

TrueVisions, meanwhile, is a regular broadcaster of the various top-tier overseas soccer competitions in Thailand.

The deal will come as a significant boost for the top-tier Thai clubs, with the league to receive the first quarter of the annual broadcast payment on August 5.
