Sky New Zealand, the pay-TV heavyweight, has consolidated its golf portfolio by extending its exclusive broadcast rights to the DP World Tour until the end of the 2029 season.
The four-year renewal commences with the Dubai Invitational, which is currently underway.

The deal will see Sky continue to deliver coverage of more than 40 DP World Tour tournaments each season, including flagship tournaments such as the Rolex Series events.
Notably, the agreement also includes coverage of the 2027 Ryder Cup, golf’s premier men’s tournament between Team Europe and Team US.

By GlobalDataLast year, Sky extended its broadcast deal for the PGA Tour until 2030 and secured a six-year deal for the PGA Championship.
The broadcast giant holds rights in New Zealand to all four annual majors, as well as the women’s LPGA tour.
The new deal comes as the tour looks to consolidate its broadcast partner worldwide, having last week secures a multi-year extension with the Golf Channel, the sport-specific US broadcast network owned by Versant.
Earlier this month, the tour also struck a deal in Thailand with major telecoms firm Advanced Info Service (AIS) covering the current 2026 season, while November saw the tour secure a major long-term broadcast extension with UK pay-TV broadcaster Sky, which will continue its coverage through 2029.
The DP World Tour’s recent commercial activity, which most recently saw the addition of brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev to its stable of partners earlier this month.
Ahead of the 2026 season, the tour ramped up its commercial activity, starting with a decade-long renewal of its title sponsorship deal with global logistics heavyweight DP World until 2035.
This new deal has been described as the largest in the tour's history and includes DP World continuing as its official logistics partner.
The tour announced Amazon Web Services, the e-commerce giant’s major internet services business, as its official cloud provider last month while also renewing its partnership with cybersecurity firm Fortinet.
