Germany's Sky Deutschland pay-TV broadcaster has extended its rights deal covering English men's soccer's top-tier Premier League (EPL).
Through a three-season extension unveiled today, Sky Deutschland will remain the home of the EPL – in which a swathe of top German players ply their trade – through the 2030-31 season.

All 380 games every season will be covered by the broadcaster, with over 280 of these being shown live.
The deal also covers Austria and Switzerland, and includes public screening rights (for restaurants, hotels, and other public places) in addition, through the Sky Business service.
Sky Deutschland's current tie-up covering the Premier League runs between 2025-26 and 2027-28, and was unveiled in February of 2024.
The previous agreement had begun in 2022, meanwhile.
Barny Mills, chief executive at Sky Deutschland, has commented: "The Premier League is one of the absolute premium rights of international sport. With numerous German stars and many of the best players in the world, the league is also particularly attractive for football fans in Germany."
German national team stars contracted to Premier League clubs include Kai Havertz at champions Arsenal, Florian Wirtz at Liverpool, and Fulham's Bernd Leno.

We look forward to building on our strong collaboration to bring the Premier League even closer to our passionate fans across the region, who have a deep-rooted and enduring connection to the competition."
In terms of Sky Deutschland's array of other soccer rights, it also covers England's lower-league EFL, as well as (domestically) Germany's top-tier Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal cup competition.
That Bundesliga deal runs through the 2028-29 campaign.
The EPL, meanwhile, will be covered domestically and live next season by Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
