Playtech, the gambling software development company, has penned a five-year deal with The Jockey Club, the prominent UK horse racing organization.
This will see Playtech create content from Jockey Club’s races and racecourses that will be deployed across Playtech’s assets, including its casino, live casino, poker, virtual sports, and bingo verticals.
The content will be launched ahead of this year’s Cheltenham Festival, which will take place from March 15 to 18 at the Cheltenham Racecourse.
The deal, which was negotiated by Creation iGaming and Metrostar, also includes the creation of an RNG casino game that will be offered in Playtech’s Sporting Legends suite.
Charlie Boss, chief commercial officer at the Jockey Club, said: “We are delighted to partner with Playtech, whose software and expertise will help translate the success of our historic brands into the iGaming market for the first time.”
James Frendo, casino director at Playtech, added: “By partnering with an iconic sporting institution such as The Jockey Club, we are able to create a full range of exceptional and exciting cross-product content.”
