The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the international mixed martial arts promotion, has launched a free, ad-supported (FAST) streaming channel on the Roku platform.

The 24/7 channel will deliver PFL MMA content to fans in the US through The Roku Channel, the company’s streaming service, and will feature over 50 hours of live, near-live, and video on demand content including ceremonial weigh-ins, press conferences, and condensed replays.

Additionally, it will offer over 100 hours of historic PFL events, and a new original series created by PFL Studios.

The Roku Channel claims to reach approximately 145 million people.

Mike Chioditti, senior vice president of new business at Professional Fighters League, said: “The PFL FAST channel is designed to be a game-changer for MMA fans, giving free access to top-tier content for everyone to enjoy.

“By partnering with a global brand like Roku, PFL continues to engage its domestic and international viewers and make its high-quality content accessible to all.”

In December, PFL launched a 24/7 FAST channel on the Samsung TV Plus service.

The PFL has been increasing its digital footprint recently and last month rolled out a direct-to-consumer (DTC) app to air live events and fights from its regional leagues.

The platform, launched in collaboration with digital streaming platform ViewLift, is free for users in the US to watch events from competitions including the regional PFL Europe, PFL MENA (Middle East and North Africa), and PFL Africa leagues.

The PFL App is available on the Apple and Google Play stores, as well as online, and will roll out across OTT devices, including Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV, later this year.

Earlier this month, the PFL announced a significant restructuring of its senior leadership team, appointing experienced media executive John Martin as its new chief executive.

Peter Murray, the current CEO, will transition to the role of CEO of PFL International, where he will lead the launch and growth of the promotion’s international leagues. Murray will report directly to Martin in this expanded global structure.

The next PFL event will be the finals of the 2025 PFL World Tournament, taking place on August 1 in New Jersey, August 15 in Charlotte, and on August 21 in Hollywood.
