International over-the-top sports streaming platform DAZN has extended and expanded its broadcasting rights deal with North American basketball's NBA for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The revised agreement, which GlobalData Sport understands runs until the end of the 2022-23 season, entails increased access to NBA games and other content for fans in the DACH region.
The expansion includes the addition of NBA TV, the league’s 24-hour-a-day live stream featuring live and archive NBA games, studio programming and analyst coverage.
DAZN is also set to provide additional content, including the NBA Summer League, NBA Draft and additional original programming.
DAZN launched in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2016 with rights to properties including the NBA, and this is the first renewal of the agreement.
