Now, as its Rome event takes place today, it has announced multiple new deals for the top-tier competition.
These include tie-ups with SpoTV across Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Macau, TV2 in Denmark, and other new partners in the European markets of Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo, and Belarus. A new agreement is also now in place in Mongolia.
Overall, Diamond League events throughout 2026 are now viewable across more than 150 territories worldwide, through deals with over 50 broadcasters.
This year's Diamond League contains 15 meets, having started in May in Shaoxing, China. It is set to run through to the season finale in Brussels in early September.
Petr Stastny, chief executive of the Diamond League, said: "Infront has again delivered a strong international broadcast network that combines consistency in our core athletics markets with targeted expansion into new territories. That balance is important for athletes, fans, our partners, and the continued development of the series globally.”
Jens Mennigmann, Infront's co-head of media, added: "The Wanda Diamond League already benefits from an exceptionally strong set of international broadcasters, so our focus has been building strategically on that foundation. These new agreements strengthen our reach across broad markets as athletics looks to widen its exposure globally."
In addition to its Diamond League rights distribution deal, Infront is managing overseas rights for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, set to take place in Budapest in mid-September.
The agency also handles rights for the World Athletics Continental Gold Tour and the World Athletics Indoor Tour.
The Wanda Group, Infront's owner, also holds title sponsorship rights to the Diamond League.
