Globo, the Brazilian media heavyweight, and the CazeTV sports streaming channel run by streamer Casemiro Miguel, will share domestic rights to soccer’s flagship FIFA Women’s World Cup (WWC) in 2027, which will be held in Brazil.
The deal, announced by world soccer governing body FIFA, will see Globo air all 64 fixtures on its SporTV pay-TV platform, while providing free-to-air access to 56 games via its TV Globo network.

CazeTV, meanwhile, will provide exclusive live coverage of all 64 matches to its wide-reaching audience on third-party digital platforms, including full live streaming for free. Its coverage will include comprehensive pre- and post-match programming.
CazéTV is primarily distributed through YouTube, but is also available on Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, and Sky+ – where it launched its first linear channel.
The 2027 WWC, taking place from June 24 to July 25, will be the first edition to take place in South America, with 32 nations competing across eight host cities.
FIFA said the two broadcasters would ensure the widest possible coverage of the event by utilizing FTA television, pay TV, and online streaming platforms.

By GlobalDataJill Ellis, FIFA’s chief football officer, said: “Both broadcasters have demonstrated long-standing support for women’s football in Brazil, having played a pivotal role in driving audience growth and visibility in recent years.”
The rights build on CazeTV’s growing influence in the Brazilian sports rights scene, with the streamer previously covering action from the men’s 2022 FIFA World Cup before securing rights to show all 104 matches from the upcoming 2026 edition being staged across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Felipe Aquilino, the head of media rights at CazéTV, said: “Expanding our partnership with FIFA and being part of the most extensive coverage in the history of the FIFA Women’s World Cup is a great source of pride for all of us, especially given that the tournament is being hosted in Brazil.
“We have the opportunity to support the growth of the women’s game and broaden its reach among CazéTV’s young and highly engaged audience.”
This year alone, the streamer acquired near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties through 2026, and rights for the top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions. Most recently, the streamer added Italy’s Serie A to its soccer offering for the 2025-26 season.
The platform has also shown action from of the most high-profile sporting events worldwide, including the Paris Olympics last year, as well as NFL American football games played internationally.
CazeTV will air half of the games from the 2026 World Cup alongside Globo, which holds rights to 52 of the fixtures, including those set to be played by the Brazilian men's national team, through a deal struck in late 2022.
Globo’s original agreement for rights to the 2026 World Cup stipulated that the Brazilian heavyweight would not hold exclusive rights, a decision made for financial reasons.
