Fubo TV, the US-based sports-focused streaming platform, has expanded its like-for-like carriage deal with global sports heavyweight DAZN, adding Canada to its recently announced agreement in the US.
The new deal will see DAZN Canada carry the Fubo Sports Network linear channel, while Fubo will carry DAZN’s live sports, including its exclusive rights, across its respective platforms.
As part of the tie-up, DAZN customers in Canada will be offered Fubo Sports Network as a bundle with DAZN subscriptions, giving them access to top-tier soccer competitions, including England’s Premier League, Italy’s Serie A, as well as baseball’s MLB, basketball’s NBA, ice hockey’s NHL, and Indian cricket’s IPL.
Fubo subscribers in Canada, meanwhile, will be able to purchase DAZN as either a standalone product or bundled with Fubo’s plans, giving them access to DAZN's portfolio of rights that include American football’s NFL, German soccer's Bundesliga, UEFA European soccer games, and top boxing events.
DAZN’s 24/7 Ringside boxing channel will also be made available on Fubo’s Canada subscription plans at no additional cost.
Deidra Dionne, vice president of DAZN Canada, said: “DAZN’s partnership with Fubo marks a major step in delivering greater accessibility to premium sports and value to Canadian sports fans.

By GlobalData“By combining content from two powerhouse platforms, we’re creating a more seamless viewing experience and offering one of the most comprehensive sports lineups available—whether you’re following the NFL, UEFA Champions League, or Premier League, it is now all in one place.”
The deal in Canada follows the pair's US partnership, struck in June, which saw DAZN’s new primary linear channel, DAZN1, become available on the FuboTV service. Conversely, the Fubo Sports free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel was added to DAZN.
Meanwhile, DAZN Italy has launched MyClubPass, a new offering that grants new subscribers access to games featuring only a chosen Serie A soccer team.
The plan is available now for €30 (£25) per month or €329 annually to those who do not have an active DAZN subscription and will allow users to watch all home and away matches of their team. The offer will end on August 31.
The offering also includes access to pre-and post-match coverage, highlights, and on-demand content dedicated to their team on the platform.
DAZN holds domestic rights to Serie A, along with pay-TV network Sky Italia, in deals running through 2028-29.
The OTT platform is the primary broadcaster and covers every game live, while Sky covers three games per matchday. Globaldata Sport has estimated that the broadcasters pay around $950 million annually for these rights.
