Extreme E, the international SUV electric motor racing series that launched this year, has today secured a new broadcast rights deal with Eleven Sports, the international subscription broadcaster, for Belgium and Luxembourg, and beyond.
The deal will see Eleven offer live coverage of the championship's X Prix events, plus race highlights and review, preview and magazine shows on its new global streaming platform ElevenSports.com and Eleven Sports Belgium.
The broadcaster’s coverage will be available in English, French, Flemish and German.
The ElevenSports.com platform will deliver the ongoing inaugural Extreme E season to viewers in over 140 countries globally, on a non-exclusive basis.
Subscribers in Belgium and Luxembourg will be able to watch the series via sports platform Eleven Belgium’s OTT and linear channels.
Ali Russell, chief marketing officer at Extreme E, said: “We are delighted to have extended Extreme E’s viewing reach globally with Eleven Sports. Our opening races have delighted audiences around the world with the new race format and high drama.”

The first two Extreme E events have already taken place in Saudi Arabia and Senegal, with Greenland to follow in late August.
However, the hosts for the final two events have still to be confirmed after the decision was taken to relocate them from Brazil and Argentina because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this month, Extreme E, agreed a rights deal with Motorsport TV Russia, a subsidiary of Motorsport Network, the international digital media company.
