US golf's top-tier PGA Tour will this week be bringing in experienced broadcast media rights executive Tom Gracey as a new hire, Sportcal (GlobalData Sport) has learned.
Gracey, most recently the global head of broadcast and media partnerships at international sailing series SailGP, joins the golf property in a similar role.
He will work closely with Thierry Pascal, the tour's senior vice president of international media, and will be based out of London, UK.
As such, he will focus predominantly on the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
There is not expected to be any public unveiling of Gracey's hiring.
Gracey has been at SailGP for two and a half years, having first joined in January 2023, and initially announced his departure via Linkedin last month.

In total, he spent eight and a half years at the FA, before which he worked as a regional manager for the UK and Ireland at the Sportfive agency.
Gracey has now told Sportcal: "I’m really looking forward to joining the tour at what is hopefully a really interesting time.
"I’ve been following the evolution of the golfing landscape from the outside so am excited to be getting started."
