Eurosport, the Discovery-owned pan-European sports broadcaster, has acquired rights in Germany to next year’s European Men's Handball Championship, having sealed a deal with the European Handball Federation (EHF).

The terms of the agreement, which is sub-licensed by the German sports streaming platform sportsdeutschland.tv, will see the network provide live and free coverage of up to 18 games throughout the championship, including both semi-final matches and the final.
